Mission Statement
Before I got my first mission God gave me some protocols:
149 Ps 6 "Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand" & Eph 6:17 "And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God" - I have to carry a bible with me at all times.
2 Tim 2:15 "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth" & Ezek 38:7 "Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them." & 1 Pet 3:15 "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear" - There is a scripture talking about every miniute of the day & it is my job to be able to find the right scripture at the right time, in any circumstance.
The first mission that GOD gave me was this:
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. (2 Tim 4:2-5)
So I endeavor to preach the gospel at every opportunity, taking heed to teach sound doctrine straight from the scriptures & combat all cults.
The second mission that GOD gave me was this:
Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding. (Prov 23:23)
So I give away free bibles whenever I can, to whoever wants one.
The third mission that God gave me was this:
Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul. (Ezek 3:17-21)
So for me it's an eternal life-and-death issue to preach the gospel.
My latest mission is this:
And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. (Jn 17:3)
So it is my job to encourage the body of Christ to deepen their relationship with God.
